Watercolor Art Class:
Mardel DeBuhr Sanzotta has volunteered her time to teach our watercolor classes.
We offer two classes on Monday - 9:15am and 12:45 Please sign up at the office. This includes the drawing class.
Colored Pencil Class

The Fundamentals of Art Journaling
Let your creativity come to life with an art journal!
Learn basic techniques with various art materials including collage, acrylic paints, water soluble crayons, colored pencils and more.

Art Journaling Your Inner Voice
Explore your uniqueness through the creative process of art journaling! This class will focus on concepts such as spirituality, synchronicity and intuition.
Learn to allow your true voice to shine through the creative process. We will be using journal prompts promoting inner reflection, growth, and potential.
Wednesday Nights 6:30-9:30 Cost of class $35 / month

Mind Challenge
Every Monday 11:30-noon Jennifer/Senior Independence will challenge your mind with games puzzles, fun and prizes.
Will resume at a later date
Qi Gong for beginners is a way to meditate using deep breathing while moving the body.
These movements boost immunity, promote healthy living, harness body-mind energy and are done standing. Every Monday evening from 4-5pm
Arthritis Foundation Exercise Program
Mondays & Wednesdays & Fridays 10:30-11:30am – This program is designed for those who have joint/muscle problems.
This class will help improve muscle strength and balance.
Tai-Chi
Learn the ancient art of Tai-Chi from instructor Libby Hill.
Meets every Monday we combined both classes and we will now start at 9:00am-10:00am Cost of class $2.00.
Yoga Exercise – Tuesday at 10am-11am- With Erin Hill. Join anytime, bring an exercise mat and wear comfortable clothing.
Cost of Class $5.00/per session.
Weights & Bands
Tuesdays and Fridays – Noon till 1pm – This is an advance class with weights and bands.
Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) – is a technique applicable to everyone.
This technique helps unwind and open connective tissues in the body, so that one can function more efficiently in their daily lives.
AIS promotes blood flow, oxygen and circulation to our bodies tissues. We will be taking the body into several different angles to target the tissues effectively.
We have many muscles with fibers running in all kinds of directions, so the angles are important for us to stretch into.
This class will be the perfect compliment to the Arthritis Class that will follow. We lengthen before we strengthen!!!
Please come with comfortable clothes, a mat, and a smile, that’s all we need!!! Wednesday 9am-10am $5.00 per person
CRAFTING
Fleece Class
January 16 You will need 2 yds of solid color fleece and 2 yds printed fleece, and a pair of sewing scissors. Free.
Instructor will assist with putting blankets together. Baby blankets are 1 ½ yds per each. Blankets make wonderful gifts.
Crochet Class
Tuesdays from 6-8pm. Cost of class $5.00. All are welcome from beginners to advance. Come and learn a new pattern or finish one that was put away.

Ceramic Class- Wednesdays from 9:30am – Noon
Purchase green ware from the instructor and paint. She’ll take it back to her shop and fire the item. Cost of class $4.00
Stained Glass Class – Class will be offered on Wednesday for 4 hours (2 – 4hour classes) Please sign up for this class as the item is in my office.
Cost $25.00 for the complete project. We will make 1 item per month. You must take the beginner class in order to make any other items.
