CONCREGATE LUNCHES:  If you are age 60 or older and are looking for warm companionship and healthy nutritious food, then join the Fairport/Painesville Nutrition Site across the street from the Fairport Senior Center.  Where else can you go out to lunch for $1.25???

INTERESTED in joining the March for Meals?  March 13@Great Lakes Mall from 8am-10pm.
We will form a team to walk at the mall to support ending senior hunger.  See Chris in the office to register.

WATERCOLOR ART CLASS : WE NOW HAVE A TEACHER VOLUNTEERING HER TIME TO WORK WITH ALL OUR WATER COLOR
ARTISTS ON MONDAY. We started another class on Mondays 10a.m. – noon and 1 p.m.-3p.m. Please sign up at the office as both classes are filled.

COFFEE w/The COPS: February 3rd. @9am-10am: Meet with members of the Fairport police department.
Enjoy coffee and donuts; discuss the daily news, assistance available and upcoming happenings!  We have a great time at this coffee time!

Potluck Dinner: February 9th - 5pm  Center will provide meatloaf this month. You bring side dishes.

‘Lovey Dovey Lunch”: Feb 10. Treat your valentine to a lunch at Seekers. Lunch includes: a buffet of meat lasagna, seekers house salad,
butter w/seasoned olive oil for dipping, mini cheesecake. Entertainment is “The Love Game show” audience participation.
Transportation and lunch: $11.00. Bus departs: 11:30.

FLEECE CLASS:   February 15th @1pm  Make a fleece blanket. These are wonderful gifts for the holidays.
You will need 2 yds of solid color fleece and 2 yds.  printed fleece , and a pair of sewing scissors.. Fee Free.
Instructor will assist with putting blanket together. Baby blankets are 1 ½  yds per each

MEMORY CARE SUPPORT GROUP -  February 17th@ 1PM For those touched by Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other memory impairments.
You are not alone. Come join others to discuss signs & symptoms, resources available, care giving help and any other topic that you want and need to hear about.

Do You Hear Me??? – February 25th  Dr. Jance Kukula with Advanced Audiology will be here at 10:30am –This fun program assists with hearing loss
and/or family members in achieving good communication w/or without hearing aids.  .


COMING IN MARCH/NEW CLASSESMind Challenge returns. Challenge your mind with fun games and mind exercises. Jennifer/Senior Independence will meet with you beginning Monday March 8@11:30am-noon.(and each following Monday. Come enjoy this class!  Also in March, weight and band class begins Tuesdays March 2 (12:30-1pm). This class will utilize weights and bands only. 
   
TAXES:
It’s that time of year Again, Tax Time:  AARP Tax Assistance -  AARP Reps are here each Thursday thru April 8th.  Please bring with you all the necessary
info to prepare your taxes accurately:  Valid ID, 2009 W-2’s, 1099’s, cost information regarding and stocks and mutual funds sold in 2009, property tax
receipts and copies of your 2008 Federal and State Returns.  To schedule an appointment for Thursday 9am-1pm.  Please call the center at 354-3674.
